CANON: Preacher
CANON POINT: Season 1, Episode 5 "Sundowner"

BACKGROUND: Wiki

WISH: During episode 5, Jesse Custer accidentally sends Eugene to hell. Later on we see what hell actually is like and it is not a kind place for someone as soft-hearted as Eugene to be. His wish would be to go home. In addition, he would ask if there is a way he can go back and choose not to kiss Tracy. This would mean that she is not stuck in a vegetative state because of him (he blames himself that she kills herself after he kisses her). It also would mean that he would not try to kill himself and end up deformed in the aftermath. His priority at that time, would be to get out of hell -- but he would be very much struggling with the memory of what happened with Tracy as in hell he is forced to relive that memory again and again.

FIT: Eugene is an extremely kind and caring boy. He likely wouldn't be sexually involved with anyone due to his facial deformity. However, he would be more than happy to find ways to do good acts for the city. He's compassionate and cares about what is right. He wants to be forgiven by God and be a good person. He is extremely lonely as the community he is from ostracized him due to the fact that they think he is the one that shot Tracy -- which is not the case. He blames himself for that death, however, and doesn't blame anyone for the terrible way he is treated. However, when given the chance to connect to people he latches on sincerely and will talk to people openly.

CONSENT: Eugene has never broken consent. On the contrary, he sees with Jesse is able to do with his power. When Jesse commanded people (including Tracy's mother) to forgive him, he shortly after calls Jesse on this act and how it is unethical and a sin. He wants him to undo it because it's not right and he doesn't want to be forgiven that way. He doesn't believe that Jesse should force people to believe in God with the Word. He has a clear understanding of what it means to have the facility to make one's own decisions and so on top of never going against someone's consent he has a history of vehemently fighting against someone who does. This is the act that gets him sent to hell by mistake when his arguing angers Jesse.

POWERS/ABILITIES: He has no powers or abilities.

AGE: I personally view Eugene as someone 18 years old or nearing 18 years old. However, this is unstated in canon and we do know that he is still in High School. Eugene shows great maturity and awareness of morality within the show. Not only is he extremely thoughtful about what is right and wrong, he also shows strong moral fiber in choosing to fight Jesse about what Eugene believes is wrong. He has a bit of a rose colored view of the world and is innocent in a way but he has also seen extreme darkness in humanity (Tracy's suicide, Jesse's abuse of power, the way he has been treated by Annville residents). He is capable of taking care of himself and has an emotional maturity that's shown in the way he speaks to other adults (re: above mentioned conversations with Jesse is most telling of his maturity).

HUMANIZATION: N/A

CRAU:N/A

ANYTHING ELSE? Eugene has a severe facial deformity.
